The Five Principles of Lean

Explore Value, Value Stream, Flow, Pull, and Strive for Perfection as the foundation for Lean transformation.

The Eight Types of Waste

Learn how to identify waste using practical examples, rules of waste, and value-defining questions.

Current State Value Stream Maps

Develop Current State Maps using tools such as SIPOC, process flow mapping, top-down flow charts, and RBWA within an 8-step mapping approach.

Spaghetti Diagrams

Document and analyze the movement of people and materials to identify and reduce wasted motion.

Future State Value Stream Maps

Design improved Future State Maps using Lead Time, Cycle Time, and Takt Time, and learn methods to achieve the future state using Lean tools such as 5S and Visual Controls.
